Mr. Elwood will continue to support the AVID® Program and ensure that more students get access to the training/skills required in the 21st century job market.

David can help the WSD to strengthen its focus on STEM at all levels by bringing industry experience to the CTE program.

As a former Big Ten Athlete and Pac 12 Coach, David strongly supports sports in public schools and the leadership skills they teach students.

David was raised by three amazing teachers/parents and have a deep respect for the profession. He will ensure that WSD staff are given the resources they need to succeed.

Mr. Elwood will bring 20+ years of experience as an engineer and project manager for multi-billion-dollar infrastructure projects to
help develop a defensible Facility Master Plan for the WSD to better justify future bond measures.
